3. C2828FN2 – Floor Standing Finisher

The C2828FN2 is a staple finisher capable of stapling up to 50 sheets. It offers two standard output

trays with the top tray holding up to 200 sheets and the bottom tray holding up to 3,000 sheets.

C2828KB – External Keyboard

The C2828KB is an external keyboard that

simplifies the entry of e-mail addresses, files

names and more. Muratec recommends

the installation of the C2828KBH (keyboard

holder) or C2828TABLE (working table)

to support the keyboard. The C2828KB

also requires that either the C2828USB or

C2828USBB host drive be installed.

C2828KBH – Keyboard Holder

The C2828KBH mounts to the

MFX-C2828 and provides convenient

access to the external keyboard.

C2828USB – USB Host

This is a USB 2.0 interface that is

required to connect the C2828KB

External Keyboard.

C2828USBB – USB Host

This is a USB 2.0 interface that is

required to connect the C2828KB

External Keyboard and enables wireless

printing.

3a. C2828BIN2 – Job Tray

The C2828BIN2 can be added to the C2828FN2

to provide a third tray for additional output

capacity. It can be programmed to hold print, copy

or fax output. The C2828FN2 must be installed.

3b. C2828PUN –

Hole Punch Unit

The C2828PUN

enables users to

two and three hole

punch documents

for binding. The

C2828FN2 must be

installed.

3c. C2828FNSDL – Saddle Stitch Kit

The C2828FNSDL should be installed when

booklet making (fully-folded and center stapled)

is required. The C2828FN2 must be installed.

1. C2828CSTP – Convenience Stapler

This basic stapler mounts to the MFX-

C2828 and requires the user to manually

staple documents after they finish printing.

C2828PEN – Stylus Pen

The C2828PEN is a stylus pen that provides

users with easier touch screen navigation.

C2828TABLE – Working Table

The Working Table is required to house

the C2828BIO Biometric Authentication

Unit, C2828iCLASSU Card Authentication

Unit, C2828CARDREA Magnetic Stripe

Card Reader and is recommended for the

C2828HID HID Proximity Card Unit. It can

also be installed to function as a storage spot

for originals or output.

C2828TABLESP – Working Table

w/Side Panel Kit

The Side Panel Kit is required to mount the

Control Panel on the right side of the MFP

instead of the front. This allows users to save

space in tight work areas. The Side Panel Kit

can also house the Biometric and other card

authentication devices.

The C2828FN is a compact internal finisher

that supports multi-position stapling up to

50 sheets and electronic sorting.
